Three Notch Toys started with a simple belief: every community deserves a great toy store.
If you look back on your own childhood, you probably remember that unforgettable feeling of walking into a local toy store with a few dollars in your pocket. It didn't matter how big or small the shop was; the pure excitement of wandering the aisles, wide-eyed and looking for that one perfect treasure, was absolute magic. It’s a core childhood memory and it’s a feeling you just can't replicate by clicking a button on a screen.
For a few years, we ran our business entirely online, shipping packages all over the country. But every time we taped up a box, we couldn't shake the feeling that something important was missing right here at home. Our community didn't have a place where kids could experience that hands-on wonder, or where parents could pass down that same simple joy to their own little ones.
We wanted to fix that.
We poured our hearts into building this store because our families deserve a neighborhood space dedicated to imagination and discovery. Because we believe in that magic of true discovery, we purposefully seek out unique, independent brands you won't find lining the shelves of giant corporate retailers. We hand-pick hidden gems and quality items that spark real creativity; things you can hold, feel, and fall in love with in person.

"I’m Elizabeth, the founder of Three Notch Toys. My path here wasn't a straight line or a perfect win; it was built on a series of lessons and a lot of hard work.
I’ve had businesses before that didn't go as planned, but I don't call those failures, I call them my foundation. They taught me exactly how to find quality products, how to build a business that actually works, and most importantly, how to treat people like neighbors, not just 'customers.'
I took everything I learned from those early days and poured it into Three Notch Toys. Founded in 2026, this shop is the 'sweet fruit' of years of persistence. We aren't a faceless company; we’re a local, veteran-owned business focused on connecting you with things you love. Whether we’re bringing in a world-class brand or helping you find that one special item, we do it with the honesty and reliability that only comes from experience.
